My Own Struggles- Do you relate?

For as long as I could remember, I wanted to be a father. I'm 35 years old now, and we're talking about being an adolescent and knowing I was going to be a father some day. It befuddles me when I hear of adults who have not even considered having a child, or admitting that they're outrageously against having one. So, at 25 I had my first child. He was a surprise, considering the woman I was with at the time was older, previously married, and tried having children with her ex-husband but couldn't. Therefore, I was convinced there was no chance of her getting pregnant, yet this underlying belief stood- "of course it's a possibility," I thought.
